THE MESSIAH.

English Theatre Düsseldorf (ETD) brings professional English-language theatre and community theatre workshops to international audiences. They asked me to shoot these photos to document their production of The Messiah by Patrick Barlow.

The shoot took place during a dress rehearsal preview so I only had one chance to get a shot of each scene. So forward planning was key, analysing the script to identify key dramatic moments. ETD have used the photos extensively on their website and for promotion of subsequent productions of the play. ETD is a long-term client with various projects in the pipeline.
